Body composition
Body composition is the split of a body's weight into fat mass and lean mass, the figure that distinguishes two people of the same weight and the one a scale alone cannot give. IZeat records no body composition in V0; it records intake and protein, the two inputs a person controls, and leaves the measurement of the outcome to scans, tapes and the customer.
Composition is measured by DEXA, impedance or calipers, with accuracy that falls in that order and a cost that rises in it. IZeat has no source for any of them and so stores none, by the same rule that keeps a plate photo from becoming a number. The profile holds a target; the record holds the meals; the composition, when measured, is the customer's fact to read beside them.
Composition is the honest goal behind most weight goals, and the reason the scale disappoints: it cannot see muscle. IZeat's contribution to that goal is narrow and real: protein grams with sources, calories against a target, over months, with the gaps visible. A record like that is what a coach or a scan can be read against; the product does not pretend to be either.
