Data export

A data export is a copy of everything an account holds, delivered in files the person can open elsewhere, so that a record is theirs rather than held by the service that recorded it. IZeat exports the whole record from the account page as CSV or JSON, with one download for each format, every meal with its rows, figures and sources, ready for a spreadsheet, another tool or a folder.

Two formats cover two needs: CSV opens in any spreadsheet and reads as a table, one row per item with its date, meal, grams, figures and source; JSON keeps the structure, meals with their rows and history, for anyone who wants to process it. Both carry the sources, so an exported estimate is still marked as one. The export is the customer's data and nothing else.

A tracker holding a food history hostage is one people are right to distrust, and the complaint is old: years of records inside an app that changed, raised its price or closed. The export is how IZeat answers it, and it is on the account page rather than behind a support request. Taking the record elsewhere is a right, not a favour.
