Recomposition

Body recomposition is losing fat and gaining muscle over the same period, usually at or near maintenance calories with high protein and resistance training. IZeat records the two things a recomposition depends on that a person can control: calories near the target and protein high, day after day, with every figure's source named.

Recomposition asks for a target close to maintenance and a protein target that is not negotiated down on busy days. IZeat shows both remainders in every reply and the day card, and the period summary shows whether the protein was actually there across a month. The body's answer, the part IZeat does not measure, is read elsewhere.

Because recomposition is slow and quiet, it is the phase where people give up on the record first: nothing dramatic happens on the scale, so logging feels pointless. The record is what proves the input was there when the output takes months. A tracker that costs half an hour a day cannot be kept that long; one that costs a sentence can, and the receipt after every meal is the small daily reason to keep going.

Put it into practice: Reading a period.
