Waist measurement
A waist measurement is the circumference at the navel or the narrowest point, taken with a tape under the same conditions each time, a body measure that moves more slowly and more honestly than the scale. IZeat records no measurements in V0; a customer who tapes their waist keeps the figure with their assistant, and IZeat keeps the meals of the same weeks.
The tape is cheap and repeatable, and it is not fooled by water weight the way scale weight is, which is why many people trust it more over a month. It is still outside IZeat's record by rule: the product records food and compares it to a food target. What IZeat records, the food, is written as facts with a date, never as a countdown to a number, and a tape measurement is a fact the customer reads the same way.
The waist is the measurement people abandon least, because it does not lie week to week, and the food record is its natural companion: a customer who tapes on the first of the month and reads their period summary for the same month has both sides of one story. IZeat keeps its side complete and honest, and says nothing about the other.
