Metabolism
Metabolism is the whole set of chemical processes by which a body turns food into energy and tissue; in everyday use, the word means the rate at which a person burns energy. IZeat measures nothing about metabolism; it records what was eaten with a source on every figure, which is the input a conversation about metabolism has to start from.
The everyday meaning, a fast or slow metabolism, is mostly resting expenditure, which varies less between people than folklore says and depends largely on size and lean mass. None of it is a figure IZeat can source, so none of it is in the record. What the record can settle is the other question, whether intake was what the customer believed, and it settles it with weighed foods, labels and marked estimates.
"My metabolism is slow" is often the sentence that ends a diet, and the record is the kindest way to test it: a month of complete, honest rows either supports it or does not. IZeat makes that month easy to keep and refuses to decorate it with an expenditure figure it cannot stand behind. The verdict, if there is one, belongs to a professional with a measurement.
