Claude

Claude is Anthropic's conversational assistant, and in relation to IZeat it is one of the assistants a customer can connect, on the web, in the desktop app, on the iPhone app and in Claude Code. IZeat connects to Claude as a custom connector: a one-tap button on the customer's Assistants page opens Claude with the name and address filled in, or the customer adds it by hand under Settings, Connectors, Add custom connector, then signs in on IZeat's authorization screen.

The Claude iPhone app adds a custom connector itself, from the sidebar, with only a name and an address, and iOS asks whether Claude may sign the customer in. The "Requires sign-in" switch stays off: turned on, Claude asks for a client id and secret nobody has, while IZeat's server advertises its own authorization. Claude Code takes one command in the terminal, then a sign-in. If Claude keeps an old version of the IZeat tools, a reply says so, and removing and re-adding the connector once refreshes it.

Claude shows the customer what a tool does before they approve it, from the annotations IZeat declares, so reading the day and undoing a change do not ask for the same vigilance. In an assistant that shows interactive reports, a request for a balance or a chart draws the day and the text stays to the signed line and a sentence or two.
