Satiety
Satiety is the feeling of fullness after eating and the length of time before hunger returns, shaped by protein, fibre, water content and the volume of what was eaten. IZeat measures nothing about satiety, but a day card that shows protein and calories per meal is where a customer can see, over a week, which meals kept them full and which did not.
Satiety has no unit and no label line, so it is not a figure IZeat records. What it can show is the pattern behind it: a breakfast of 30 g of protein and a breakfast of 8 g at the same calories, read side by side over several days in the period summary. The reading is the customer's and their assistant's; IZeat supplies the honest rows.
Hunger is where most deficits fail, and where the record helps most, provided it is complete: a day with a meal missing tells nothing about the hungry evening that followed. That is why IZeat is built to make logging cost the time of a sentence, and why a day without entries is shown as a gap rather than a zero. A customer who logs the snack they wish they had not eaten learns more than one who skips it.
Put it into practice: Reading a period.
