Trend weight
Trend weight is a smoothed weight, usually a moving average of daily weigh-ins over a week or more, that shows the direction under the daily noise of water and meals. IZeat computes no trend weight because it records no weight in V0; the trend it does compute is the intake side, the average per recorded day over any period, with the target beside it.
A trend is what a daily scale reading becomes once averaged over enough mornings that water and salt cancel out; a seven-day moving average is the common choice. IZeat applies the same idea to food, where its record is complete: the period summary's average per recorded day, over a week, a month or a quarter, with the days that have entries counted so the average is not flattered by gaps.
Trend weight and the food record are the two curves that tell the story together, and IZeat holds one of them by design. Keeping weight out is not a gap the product forgot; it is the rule that the record judges nothing but its own completeness, and a smoothed weight next to a bad week is still a verdict. The food record is a list of dated facts too, and any smoothing of it is the customer's to ask their assistant for.
