Refeed

A refeed is a planned day or two at maintenance calories or above, usually higher in carbohydrate, placed inside a longer deficit. IZeat records a refeed day like any other day, against whatever target the customer set; a day above the target is a number in the reply, not a warning.

A refeed is the customer's plan, not IZeat's suggestion. Some customers set a temporary target for that day, others keep the usual target and read the day over it; both work, because over is written the same way as under. What IZeat will not do is call the day anything: no praise for the deficit before it, no comment on the carbohydrate on the day.

Planned high days are where the words matter most: call one a failure and the next one is hidden from the record. IZeat's neutral language is a deliberate choice so that the record stays complete on the days people are least proud of. A refeed that is logged is a data point; one left out of the diary is a hole in the week's average.

Put it into practice: Targets and profile.
