Connector

A connector is an assistant's name for an outside service it has been linked to, so that the model can use that service's tools inside a conversation. IZeat is added as a connector in Claude and as an MCP server in ChatGPT and other apps, with one address and one sign-in; once connected, the assistant records and reads food through it without the customer opening IZeat.

A connection is signed in as one IZeat account, approved once on IZeat's authorization screen, and listed on the customer's Assistants page. It can be revoked from there at any time; revoking disconnects that assistant on the spot. Deleting the account disconnects every assistant and signs the customer out. What an assistant can do through the connection is what its scopes allow, read and write, and nothing outside IZeat's tools.

The connector is the moment the product exists for a customer, and the documentation gives the path for each client as it was observed: a one-tap button or the manual path for Claude, the desktop app's settings for ChatGPT, one command for Claude Code, one JSON block for other apps. A connection that took a screen of setup would be a customer lost, so each path is a few steps.
